A More Substantial Removable Mounting System

The LXS Labs Heavy-Duty French Cleat is the largest-profile mounting bracket in our French cleat range.

Each size uses a consistent 50mm-high and 15mm-thick profile, providing additional space for countersunk fixing points and a larger adhesive contact area than our Standard and Slimline brackets.

The two components interlock securely while still allowing the mounted item to be lifted away when access, repositioning or removal is required.

Choose Your Fixing Method

Screw mount

Both components feature pre-drilled, countersunk mounting holes for suitable mechanical fixings.

Adhesive mount

Both components are supplied with high-bond adhesive tape for mounting onto compatible, properly prepared surfaces.

Mixed mount

One component features countersunk screw holes while the other is supplied with adhesive tape. This is useful when the wall can accept screws but the item being mounted cannot.

Important Load Information

“Heavy Duty” describes the bracket’s larger physical profile and increased fixing provision compared with our other French cleat designs. It does not represent a certified load rating.

The supported weight depends on the selected bracket length, wall construction, mounting surface, fixings, installation quality and direction of the applied load.

Mechanical fixings should be used where heavier, valuable or fragile items are involved. Adhesive-only mounting must not automatically be assumed suitable for heavy loads.

These brackets are not intended for structural, overhead, safety-critical or human-supporting installations.

Adhesive Installation

Adhesive requires a clean, dry, smooth and structurally sound surface. Dusty, textured, porous, damp or weakly painted surfaces may prevent reliable adhesion.

The suitability of both the mounting surface and the item being mounted must be checked before installation.

Material Information

PLA is intended for normal indoor use and should not be exposed to excessive heat or prolonged high-temperature conditions.

Minor layer lines and surface variations are normal characteristics of additive manufacturing and do not affect the bracket’s function.
